Michael Alan | LAST LIVING INSTALLATION?
Michael Alan is known for his live performances, for which he coined the names Living Installation. He just did his last show at ABC No Rio, the history art collective in the Lower East Side. Alan notes that ABC No Rio was the place where his Living Installations were able to grow and flourish. As Gothamist explains, Alan “methodically applied just about every incarnation of paint, glue, paper, fabric and to the otherwise nude human instruments of his Living Installation.” Throughout the show he strategically moved around the room, altering his subjects. Shantell Martin | COLLABORATES WITH 3x1 JEANS

Shantell collaborated with 3x1 Jeans for the month of January. She adorned their custom jeans with her unique and whimsical illustrations. Additionally, Martin has an in-store installation that included small scale and 7-foot long pen drawings. Some of Martin’s items will benefit benefit Print 4 Change’s non-profit partners Healing Haiti and Opportunity International, which help better the lives of people living in extreme poverty, by providing food, water, shelter, and education.
